Box for Famous Italian Cake "Torta della Nonna" is a Ligure sweet, but very famous in Tuscany.
This cake is made from a base of pastry covered with pine nuts and icing sugar which has a filling of delicious custard.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARATION IS IN THE PACKAGE.
The package contains:
350 g base mix for the dough,
75 g prepared custard,
pine nuts 10 g,
10 g icing sugar.
Ingredients: Mixture base for the dough: wheat flour type "00", sugar, raising agents: disodium diphosphate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, salt, spices. Prepared pastry cream (16%): sugar, modified starch, gelling agent: sodium alginate, flavors, stabilizers: calcium sulfate, tetrasodium diphosphate, coloring agents: annatto, curcumin. Bag of pine nuts (2%): pine nuts. Bag of powdered sugar (icing sugar which contains corn starch for use in confectionary): sugar, starch. The product may contain traces of milk, eggs, nuts, peanuts and soy. Ingredients to be added: 125 g cold butter (or margarine is not spreadable), 1 egg, for the cream: 250 ml milk at room temperature.
